Reader Ideas Sought
Fifteen years of community employment development will be celebrated in the February 2005 edition of Employment Matters...
Since the first edition of Employment Matters was produced in March 1990, more than 2000 community initiatives have been profiled.
The February 2005 edition aims to celebrate the journey and the community achievements over that time.
Employment Matters is calling for readers’ ideas and thoughts on highlights over the years.
Employment Matters was originally published by the Community Employment Development Unit which was integrated with the Group Employment Liaison Scheme and SCOPE in 1991 to form the Community Employment Group.
CEG has been disestablished, with its funding for community employment development to be transferred to the Ministry of Social Development from April 2005.
